Stayed with my son for football match at Nottingham Forest stadium. Excellent location for this and lots of amenities within walking distance too. River Rooms does exactly what it says on the tin. Good communication from owners aswell.

Great location near Trent Bridge Cricket ground, clean rooms and access to shared kitchen. However, there was not enough parking, I counted 12 parking spaces and yet there are 18 rooms. Some of the parking is on muddy puddles.

Good contact from the property manager with speedy responses when messaging. The apartment I had was well equipped in the kitchen/living space were big - more than enough for a few day stay. Didn't see the (shared) kitchen space for the 1-bed places but imagine they would be similarly well-equipped. If needed, I'd definitely be back again.

It all went well.Such a pity there is no advertised method of leaving cases prior to checking in and after checking out. This would be ideal for those using public transport and trying to enjoy the facilities of Nottingham.

Ignore some of the old reviews on here. I had a one night stay in Room 16 the basement room. Immaculately clean. Comfortable bed. Smart bathroom with an excellent power shower. Check in / out was seamless. I will definitely be staying here again.

The day before our arrival, I was required to send my ID as confirmation. I believed that they would have sent all of the access codes for our entry in to the building at that time. We were travelling for the next 24 hours to get to Nottingham from Canada. When I checked my emails, I hadn't received the check-in information. We arrived at the Nottingham Train station and I wasn't getting any response to my messages for nearly a half an hour. We were tired from travelling. When somebody finally did respond, they said that they were having a team meeting; that was the reason for the delayed response; despite they knew they had guests that were arriving that day and I was messaging shortly after 3 pm, which is check-in time for the guests. Our rooms were changed, but the rooms we were given were not suitable for our family of mother, son and 2 daughters all over the age of 50 travelling together

The location was reasonable for City Access - a 30 minute walk. Our 2 bedroom with en-suite room was functional, although 1 chair for 3 guests was not good. The big negative was the Bed which was very uncomfortable.

Location was very good. Room was small but adequate. En=suite was very small and very basic. Communication with staff was excellent and they answered all my queries. Overall it was good value for money especially as we only needed the room for one night.
