horrible and expensive hotel because not a real Marriott
I feel like this was a “don’t judge a book by its cover” hotel. On arriving to it, from outside I wasn’t so sure but as soon as you step inside it’s a completely different story. Staff are so welcoming, the hotel itself is spotless, rooms very spacious and comfortable. Other than the area being a little noisy (which you have to expect in a city) it was perfect. Went for a conference and the service they put on for conferences too was second to none. The staff were all so polite.
Clean and comfy. Friendly staff. The lobby was clean, bright and welcoming. The only things that let it down a little were the externals of the hotel make it look like flats and needs some modernising; and the elevator doors shudder as they close, like they need to be serviced. It may sound a bit petty but it's all about first impressions and wonky elevator doors aren't right.
