The Hotel claims on its website to prioritise a good nights sleep and that is exactly what I got!
The Room is effectively a large wet room with a glass partition for the bathroom/bedroom, "one room"!
The shower, sink taps and mirror light are all touch button and are very, very modern and very useable "no stretching around shower curtains/glass screens getting wet here"!
Large selection of towels and free shower gel, shampoo etc.
The shower room is huge with a large round ceiling mounted shower head, it was like showering under a waterfall.
The bed is fantastic and the best bed I have ever slept in.
Now then. There is no window,no bedside table, lamp, phone, chair, carpet or any thing else that you actually do not need.
Once in the room there is no ambience, creature comfort or sence of being. Once you switch the light off, it is total darkness!!
Further the room is sound proof and I feel the designer or owner must have spent a lot of time in a padded prison cell somewhere in the world.
You will also have a sense that if you are feeling poorly, take a turn for the worse etc you are doomed and in all honesty you probably will be.
This hotel is a few steps away from piccadilly circus with all its bars restauraunts, theaters and nightlife. Which probably justifies the high price.
Would I stay here again, yes definitely!
Positives and negatives.
Thank you very much
