Myself and my son shared a twin room at the Bedford across four nights in July. Unfortunately this coincided with very high temperatures in London and the lack of air conditioning was very apparent. The hotel supplies a fan which def does help. Despite this we really enjoyed the Bedford hotel and would return. It’s lovely to have some outdoor garden space at the rear of the hotel, we ate in the bar one night and the food was great, we really enjoyed it. The staff are friendly and the decor in the shared spaces are very nice. The rooms feel a little dated but are perfectly clean and comfortable. The location is great for train (Euston) or tube (Holborn or Russell square) and many of the hop on/hop off tourist buses pas the front of the hotel. Lots of shops nearby too for snacks etc.

The staff, location, beds and food were nice and decent. The shower and toilet did not work, and we heard loud parties for 2 nights from the garden courtyard-even though we paid extra for garden view. We did appreciate having a mini fridge in our room! There was no complimentary coffee for guests in the lobby for early risers.

The hotel is very well located. We could walk everywhere to places we wanted to visit. The rooms are of a good size, clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered is excellent. We found the staff to being knowledgeable and helpful. They truly cared about meeting client needs.

The hotel was in a nice area where I felt very safe walking around. Covenant gardens and other good shopping was just a short walk away. The hotel did not have air conditioning in the rooms which was brutal for two nights in the summer. They provided one tiny fan which was not running when we came in the room nor did it make much of a difference. It was too loud near the hotel to sleep with the windows open so if you stay here prepare for a hot and horrible night's sleep. The staff was very kind and told us where we should go, and the breakfast was good.

The Bedford Hotel is situated in a peaceful and convenient location (Bloomsbury). A most striking feature is the large sheltered patio wich is excellent for lunch. Service was efficient and friendly at all times. The food was great!

very good staff and great location for restaurants. However, we suffered for 3 nights since there was warm weather in London and NO A/ C. Windows don’t open my more than 2” so we found it difficult to sleep well.
