I would especially like to recognize the Korean gentleman manager who assists with luggage — he was excellent and very attentive. During my first visit we had a few challenges due to my disability, but on this trip everything went smoothly and we were able to interact very well. "Our stay at Toyoko Inn Takasaki Station Nishi 2 was average, but there were a few disappointing aspects. Although we had clearly mentioned at the time of booking that we require a vegan breakfast, the hotel was unable to accommodate this request. It would have been helpful if this had been communicated in advance, as dietary requirements are important for many travelers. Additionally, the room was not cleaned to the standard we expected. While it was not extremely dirty, it did not feel properly maintained or thoroughly cleaned. Communication was also a challenge, as there was a lack of English proficiency among the staff. This made it difficult to discuss our concerns and clarify basic requests. On the positive side, the location near Takasaki Station is convenient. However, improvements in cleanliness, dietary accommodation, and English communication would significantly enhance the guest experience."

"This was my 3rd time staying here, great location a few min walk from the train and bus terminal, warm comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff, it's a shame they changed the breakfast service, the curry and rice were excellent before... I'd definitely recommend eating at yuba komachi while in Nikko, delicious chicken cutlet curry, very good price and lovely staff, 2 min walk from the hotel "

"Location is perfect being a few minutes walk to the train station, Yuzawa Kogen ski lifts, restaurants and shops. The food for breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent in quality and variety. We stayed 4 nights and was not bored of the spread. "
