Top Oban Hotel Reviews
The Royal Hotel
8/10 Good
"The hotel was conveniently located for the ferry and for all dining options and shopping in Oban. It was quite and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was fortifying. It was showing signs of heavy use, but that did not detract from a good night's sleep before continuing our travels into the Hebrides."
Oyster Inn
8/10 Good
"Excellent location, restaurant was very good and the servers were very personable."
The Scot
10/10 Excellent
"The stay was very good and room was quiet. Only change would have been to have a bar fridge! Loved the chocolates on the room! Bartender was very nice and personable!"
The Great Western Hotel
8/10 Good
"The room was clean, but needing a bit of upgrading. Floor a bit unstable. There need to be a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries, washbag, etc. And a tumbler (glass or plastic) in the bathroom would be useful for anyone taking medication. Otherwise fine - and a lovely view!"
The Ranald Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Convenient location for catching the ferry and for finding somewhere to eat. Packed breakfast was great as we had to leave early for the ferry. Little noisy bit not bad considering town centre location. Reception was very helpful. Managed to park outside for free (due to time we arrived/ left) too."
The Kelvin Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was great! Check-in/Check-out super smooth. Innkeeper was awesome! No frills and cozy room."
Dunarle Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"very easy to find and very close to the ferry."
No17 The Promenade
10/10 Excellent
"The customer service person was amazing!!"
The Whisky Vaults
10/10 Excellent
"The bar downstairs was amazing - huge selection of whiskies and the knowledge to go with that. Also open mic night with lovely Scottish ballads and good music other nights."
