Very nice hotel with excellent dinner and breakfast..we were served by a staff name RINA…she is extremely polite, cheerful and very friendly…she even personally wrote a goodbye card to me… that’s was very thoughtful and really appreciate her service. Will definitely stay again if I am going to be in Yamagata…it’s like coming home….thank you once again

Excellent service and a great overall experience. The room was everything you could wish for, spacious, clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast selection was delicious and they even have a spot for making onsen eggs!

I like the location very much. Next to a railway station but also with a residential area nearby. There are mountains in the background

Best hotel stay of my 2 weeks in Japan. Elegant, attentive service, old world European charm. Impeccable service and room conditions. Not a flaw in service. No onsen or pool. I stayed in the noble suite

Excellent. The hotel seems to be newly renovated. Everything was beyond excellent. Best hotel in the area.

We stayed here for a night to continue our Journey from Akita to Tendo, Yamagata. As soon as we enter the parking lot, a staff came to provide assistance for parking and the bags. Excellent reception who used a translation device to make sure we understood everything. There were two hot spring faculties, the open air was interesting with the bath/shower area also outside. Water temperature was extremely hot. Room was very spacious and lovely dinner and breakfast. The owner appears to be a...

Stayed 4 nights, beside being good at location, reasonable price; service was superb. My luggage delivery was challenging when I had to recall it back all the way from Aomori due to tsunami- earthquake alert, and the staff were very patient, took the trouble to call Yamato to ensure my luggages was safely sent back. Thanks to a gentleman staff (4/20) who find me a good rroom rate to extend extra day and make 1st call to Yamato, and Ms Sato San (4/23) who again called to check when my luggage...

Very conveniently located. Link to train station. Very nice Japanese breakfast. Staff were very friendly and service oriented

Excellent room. Spacious with private onsen pool

Hi All, We have a wonderful stay and the vegetarian meals for the two days were sumptuous and interesting. Room was clean and the servers at the restaurant were extremely polite and helpful. However, it would be nice if shuttle service can be provided during winter from the train station.

Nice business hotel. The public bath is small but there’s no extra charge for using so it’s ok. Breakfast is nice with enough choices.

Thank you all of Hotel Onikoube’s staff, have made our wonderful holiday , we are happy and grateful customer will come back again and will refer more relatives and family to visit your Hotel

Room was clean and cosy, with a minimalist design. Breakfast option was quite limited though.

The view from the room was excellent and lots of activities within the resort to keep you busy. Excellent food and hotel staff were very hospitable! Can’t wait to be back for another stay!
