"It was very easy to walk to the main attractions, especially the Blue Mosque. There were many restaurants nearby for variety. The view from the rooftop restaurant was wonderful."

"There were many things to like about this hotel. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive. We chose to have the buffet breakfast at the hotel which gave us the option to have breakfast on a ground floor restaurant near the lobby, or on a top floor restaurant across the street at an affiliated hotel. We ate breakfast at both place but we loved the view from the top floor restaurant. We could see the Blue Mosque and part of the Egyptian obelisk only a couple of blocks away as well as the straits that connects the Black Sea with the Mediterranean. Our servers (Sezgin, Daminda, Trem?, and others) made omelettes to order and the variety of options was excellent. We had cappuccinos and teas to our hearts delight. My wife loved the salep (hot tea with boiled milk). I was surprised to see how safe it felt throughout the whole Old City even when we were out past midnight. The restaurants around the hotel were excellent. One even had a Michelin rating (next door) but we didn't try that one. We had one meal at a restaurant across from the hotel and our tour guide helped us order some great Turkish food. Highly recommend it and we will return with family. "

"My recent stay at Ajwa Sultanahmet was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled in the heart of Old Istanbul, this luxurious hotel offers an experience that beautifully marries opulence with warmth, making every guest feel like royalty. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was struck by the meticulous attention to detail in the decor, which reflects the rich history and culture of the area. The rooms are sumptuously appointed, with comfortable furnishings and all the modern amenities one could wish for, all while maintaining a charmingly authentic Ottoman aesthetic. What truly sets Ajwa Sultanahmet apart, however, is its staff. Every team member I encountered was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable. Their recommendations for local dining and tips for visiting nearby historical sites were invaluable. Speaking of location, the hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Istanbul’s rich past. It is just a stone's throw away from some of the city's most famed attractions, including the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Topkapi Palace. Radisson Hotel President Old Town Istanbul

"Good location, in a quiet area but still a 15 minute walk from the main sights of Sultanahmet. Good quality, reasonably priced food at the both the restaurant and for room service. Cocktails at the English Pub actually were cheaper than every other restaurant we visited during our stay. Staff were really helpful, especially when my husband injured his arm. They let us call our travel insurance company from the reception phones for free, and found us cheap taxis which didn't over charge to get us to the hospital, and later the airport. We also had an issue with a bad smell in our room after checking in, and we were moved to a new room very quickly when this was unable to be resolved. There was a smart TV in the room which connected to streaming services like NetFlix and Disney . A staff member even came into our room immediately at 10pm to fix an issue with this TV. Great views from the breakfast room and restaurant. Only slight negatives were a leaky shower in the bathroom and inconsistent variety of hot breakfast items. Some days it was turkish breakfast pastries and potato rostis, other days it was bizarre items you wouldn't normally eat for breakfast like french fries and onion rings instead!"
