We had such a lovely stay at this traditional ryokan. Yes, the property is a little dated, but it adds an old-world charm to such an accommodation. The service from the front desk to the lady who served us dinner in the room is impeccable. Its roof top has magnificent view of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mount Fuji. They have 2 floors, and no lift if you are staying in the 2nd floor. However, could be a little noisy if you are staying on level 1 due to the noise generated from the upper floor
