Hotels near Ogletree Island

"Breakfast was your average decent continental breakfast; nothing special. The kids loved the topping options for the yogurt. Parking was plentiful. Restaurants options in area were in walking distance. Room was clean but outdated, but that didn’t affect anything. Indoor pool was fun but is not heated so it was chilly. "

"The hotel was clean.The staff was friendly. I would give the hotel a 5, I would give housekeeping a 1. The first morning they gave us clean towels.Took the dirty ones and emptied both trash cans. Did not make the bed. The second morning they took our dirty towels, but didn't leave us new towels. Emptied the trash. Didn't make the bed. The third morning they left our dirty, towels and left a stack of clean towels on the bathroom sink. Empty the trash but didn't put new bags in the cans. They never made the bed and they never gave us refills on coffee, coffee cups or the the setups. Okay, none of that is really important to us a nd I would stay here again."

"Our stay was very pleasant, no complaints but would like to acknowledge a member of your staff. Front desk Stephanie was very helpful and accommodating to us. Her personality is an asset to your hotel."

"sink area was not clean. Bath tub was not clean and the ac did not work. Thank goodness it was cool at night. Also the bed mattress was terrible and the pillows were very poor quality. No coffee pot in room and not enough towels and wash rags for a double room "

"This is the first time I have ever left a negative review on anything. However, it is warranted. We had issues with the air and the lights. There was apparently a short in the bathroom light fixture. It would not work most of the time. Also, my son slipped and fell in the shower. It was extremely slippery with no slip-resistant adhesives to prevent sliding. When we asked to file an accident report, they could not find the official paperwork and asked us to write down our information on a random piece of paper. When we asked to speak to a manger, she was not available. We were told to check back later. When we checked in later that day, we were told that the manager had called corporate about the accident report. However, we were not given any information regarding the filing. We stayed three days and asked numerous times to speak with her or have her call us. Not only has she never talked to us, no one from the hotel provided any information on the report, checked on my son, or made any effort to contact us at all. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone! "

"Room didn’t like it had been cleaned between guests just “new bedding” thrown on. Blankets and sheets were full of cigarette holes. Towels were dirty, floor had stuff all over it like it hadn’t been swept in a very long time. Bathroom floor had spots all over it like someone had spilt something and it hadn’t been cleaned up. The A/C worked great, kept the room icy cold. No one messed with our vehicle, and the lady at the front was half helpful we had trouble getting our key to work and she just kept telling me it should work. One of the other guests actually helped us get the card to work. We were passing through and got checked in LATE so didn’t really have any other options to get something else. Won’t stay again. "

"I was in a tractor trailer so I had park in the Walmart parking lot which has “no truck parking signs, will be towed.” However there quite a few trucks there and for the multiple nights I stayed there wasn’t any issues or anyone towed. Temp controlled worked well, property was quiet, everyone was friendly! I would recommend! "
