"Room was lovely met our needs . Pool fabulous but it had a lot of rules . Could not bring your own refreshments or food . At a condo I would have thought I could . The walk is exhausting even with the little funicular up the steep part . Staff were always friendly and accommodating as best as they could . Check in was in a separate building, from the pinnacle I was staying at . Over all we did enjoy our stay . Glad we had a car . "

"The property is in good location in the Malecon and within a block from the beach. Lots of dining options nearby. Friendly staff. Our 2-bedroom unit is roomy and clean. The hotel was renovated in the last few years. However, they missed the opportunity to improve noise management in the building as the glass deck doors are paper thin. A double-pane windows would have helped reduce the street noise as the hotel is located in a busy street. Also, beach towels would be a nice addition to the rooms."

"Location, Location, Location AND we booked the ocean view. It is an older hotel so being right on the ocean the stove, fridge and faucets are corroded from salt air, this put me off at first BUT again the view and LOCATION is awesome. It has an elevator that is a real bonus. Wonderful sleeping with patio door open listening to the waves. Beautiful sunsets and view of the pier right from the balcony. The front desk and cleaning staff are excellent. We will definitely stay there again. "

Beautiful resort - maybe not all the frills of some larger resorts - but super clean, friendly and lots of sun, sand and ocean. Pools are superb and dining at the seaside restaurant was outstanding. (Well worth the line up in the mornings to make reservations which you must do) we had an absolutely outstanding stay at Buenaventura !! "
