"Overall we enjoyed our stay. It's a great location, just a few steps off St George street and close to a lot of things in St Augustine. The staff was very friendly and responsive when issues came up. We aren't hot tub users, so it was a bit challenging climbing in and out of the shower without slipping. The thermostat was locked, so we couldn't adjust it. It was still set to AC on a cold night, so it was very cold. Then it warmed up but it wasn't updated, so we got too hot."

"Finding not my own hair on the pillow I was to be sleeping on, a quick look around found a snickers wrapper a flower pedal and heavy dust under the bed plus a broken table in the bedroom. Won’t ever be staying at this place again!"

"You get what you pay for!! Room was quiet and comfortable but with no regular daily service throughout our three day stay. My wife used the shower once and wouldn’t use it again due to the filth in the shower basin. Good for low budget stays but not again for us!"

"Carriage Way Inn is located in a great part of town. Away from crowds, yet within a block or two of main touristy streets. Room could have been slightly cleaner - its an old building, but we noticed dirt on the floor and in other areas. Not a distasteful dirt, but noticeable. AC worked great - room was well appointed. Staff was GREAT - VERY accommodating and helpful. I'd go back just for the staff and the way they treated their guests. It was magnificent! One last point - although away from crowds, room was often noisy from traffic or people walking outside the door. Its an old building (as noted) so not very soundproof. At times you felt like people or cars were at your doorstep!"
