"One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in around the world. It’s tucked away in an alley but the receptionist seemed to know I was wandering around looking for my hotel and led me right in. Gorgeous modern, minimalist rooms, incredibly friendly staff, and an overall wonderful experience. Check in was a breeze and the staff was warm and welcoming. The room was narrow but didn’t feel cramped at all. The downstairs has tons of natural light and open breeze, and the upstairs feels cozy without being claustrophobic. Linens and towels and furnishings were nicely appointed and luxurious. Breakfast was included in the room rate, and the food was absolutely wonderful. If I ever happen to come back to Crete, I won’t look anywhere else, Elysia will be the only place to stay. "

"Clean, beautiful rooms. Awesome location. Extremely helpful staff. Even though the front desk is not staffed in person around the clock, you can quickly reach someone to help with any questions. The buffet breakfast was very good with great variety. We loved our stay here!"

"Fabulous small hotel in the heart of Chania Old Town. 5 minutes from the port, restaurants and shops. The owner was very welcoming and let us check in early. My friend and I stayed for one night. There were 2 double bedrooms very tastefully decorated. Tea and a coffee pod machine were very welcoming as was the water in the fridge. I don’t sleep very well, the bed was so comfortable I had a great nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be booking it on my next stay in Chania."

"Property was in a great spot, within walking distance for many places!!! They arranged our transportation when requested. Very comfy beds, fantastic shower!!! Only issue was jack hammering all day across the street, so very noisy at this time so may want to ask if it was completed before you book."
