"The price and location at YVE Downtown Miami are great, but the elevator is extremely small and can feel slow and crowded during busy times. Overall, it’s a decent stay for the cost, but the elevator is something to keep in mind. I’ve stayed here before and always had good experiences, so this visit was disappointing. My room was noticeably smaller than last year’s, and the AC made loud noises throughout the night, which made it hard to rest. I’m sharing this feedback in hopes that the hotel can improve room conditions for future guests."

"Room was gorgeous with a cool city view. Walkable area but not too far from anything. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Perfect location if you’re headed on a cruise… I only stayed one night before going to a cruise but I would definitely come back."

"The close proximity of the hotel to the cruise terminals is what initially interested me in reserving this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the rooms were exactly as pictured. I was a bit nervous due to some reviews people mentioned otherwise, but the room I was given was perfect. Clean, well kept, and updated. It is a historical building that is being renovated, and it is coming along beautifully. The lobby is tiny with limited seating however they have beverages there for you complimentary. The staff for us was the highlight of the stay. Everyone was beyond accommodating! I am claustrophobic and do not use elevators. I was assigned a room on level 5 which I was going to take the stairs to, and as soon as I asked where the stairs were the staff immediately asked if I did not like elevators and they re-assigned me a lower room! It is so rare these days to have attentive service and hospitality, and I did not even have to ask! 100/10 stay, and the shuttle was great! Got us to the cruise on time and navigated the insane terminal traffic with ease. Will absolutely be staying here again!"

"The room was a fairly good space. No amenities. Didn’t feel clean. Bed and pillows not comfortable. It was close to port and did have a shuttle. "

"Rooms were clean issues with bath tub water going down stayed accumulated and don’t get me started on the hot room. Staff was so upset when we brought up concerns about changing rooms due to room being hot for our 2 kids. They said it was sold out and when they had maintenance man come up all he did was blow on thermostat to make it a “solution “ we ended our trip early and went home. Front desk lady gave my husband attitude when we asked if anyone came around to check our room while we were out and even more mad when we asked for towels and sheets be exchanged due to baby throwing up. The bar was man wasn’t attentive was always on computer not acknowledging anyone . As for breakfast it was okay wasn’t fresh but we found hair in the sausage links. I wouldn’t go back nor recommend anyone . Vallet prices were horrible and access to places was a dread we came on the wrong weekend. "
