We only spent one night at Q'ori Anka, but would have been happy to stay longer if we had spent more time in Ollantaytambo. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the location was perfect. It's very close to the main square and walking distance to the ruins and nice and quiet at night. We could also see the ruins from our window. Very comfortable bedding as well! I would highly recommend Q'ori Anka as a great place to stay in Ollantaytambo.
didn't recall reading that the prop. was adjacent to a soccer field, nor that many taxis use this for parking their vehicles. This, coupled w/thin walls-maybe even thinner than the colonial hotels around the plaza in Cusco-made for a very noisy unit. Fortunately, we were sleeping in the only quiet period-from 10 pm till 5 am. And the provided htr. worked well to overcome the cold night and equally thin windows. Bath was delightful. Breakfast was the best of the entire 7-day trip! Staff was soooo amiable and went way, way too far in accommodating. We had a departure time which was not going to allow for their breakfast, but they came early to begin that process. Unbelievably great. I plan to move to Olly, myself. I wish I could've stayed in this prop. the entire week. It was delightful to watch the snow-two feet lower down the mtn. than the day before-right from my chair at breakfast. My final neg.-that there is no "dumb waiter" for bringing up luggage-was well overcome by staff willingness to carry such. I would love to work for this hotel for the rest of my life. Despite the negatives mentioned, I still rate this really and truly a 5 out of 5 due to mgr. helpfulness beyond the call. Utterly charming.
Very comfortable and pleasant stay at Q'ori Ankas!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Q'ori Anka's B&B. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional!
Located very close to the main square it is a very comfortable and new bed and breakfast. Rooms are nice ours had a balcony overlooking the Ollantaytambo Ruins and the bathroom was perfect!
Really lovely hostel! We stayed twice and both the rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The hot water was very hot and the beds warm and comfortable. Delicious breakfast, very ample, and lovely views of the mountains and the ruins. Very nice spacious common area and we loved the style throughout. The staff were absolutely beautiful - they really went out of their way to help us and go above and beyond. They stored our bags when we went to Machu Picchu too. Can not recommend this lovely place too highly!! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay :)
Great location, close to the plaza and historic sites. The views from the room are just amazing. Unfortunately it can get very loud, but some ear plugs will do. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. Bathroom could use some upgrades, but were manageable. Breakfast was simple but good. They offer fresh eggs as well. The owners are amazing and very helpful. Would definitely stay there again!!!
