I love the Westin! This time our room was showing its age a bit and smelled a little like old cigarette smoke. But the room was huge with a great view and as always the beds were amazingly comfortable. The location is beautiful and central to everything.

Access to the underground parking was blocked off due to a protest but there was no notice provided from the hotel that we would have to seek parking elsewhere. Check in was at 1500, we arrived at 1600 and one of our rooms wasn’t ready yet. We requested adjoining rooms and were told our rooms were adjoining but when we went up that was not the case. The rooms themselves were clean, the beds comfortable and the front desk staff were polite and courteous

Loved the staff! Did NOT like the inability to speak directly to the front desk or concierge by phone to confirm our reservation before leaving for our trip. Bed was difficult to get into and sleep on. Must have been a pretty soft mattress topper. Absolutely AWFUL water pressure for a shower. Took forever to wash our hair. View was fabulous, room spotless and location amazing. Parking without valet was ridiculous and inconvenient. Attendants had tough time communicating clearly, losing patience when you couldn’t understand them, and there was a line of cars behind you. It was a form of parking, booking hours that was complicated and took time it shouldn’t have.
