Hotels in Oxon Hill-Glassmanor

"I stayed at Hotel Nell while I was in town for a conference. The room was excellent, had everything I wanted! The staff were awesome to interact with. Two problems for me - First the street noise was problematic! The hotel is located on a very busy street and there is a lot of traffic on this street 24/7. And don’t get me started on police and fire truck sirens. The staff’s fix for this was ear plugs. Second, I was attending a conference that started between 8-9am every day. The restaurant in the hotel didn’t open until 8:30 and 9am on weekends. That meant locating breakfast somewhere else which was Blue Bottle Coffee. Great little place but limited options. There were not any other options around the hotel that I could find. "

"The staff was most excellent to me each and every time I returned to the hotel, no sooner than I approached the front desk no more than 3-5 feet in the house, did either doorman, lobby attendant, front desk staff or management cordially, but consistently without fail, never a miss of the warm welcome back to the lodge, than to hear 'Welcome Back'. Regardless of time of night, mid-day, wee hours of way too early in the morning straggling back weary from one last ditch attempt at the watering hole of the den of eniquity, as it were; most often out and back in again after paying too much money to disrobe, take a lap, rewrap recompose myself and head for the door for launguishing up and down the hall of bare footed yuck just gave me 'the ole walkin' blues; and returned to a solemn look of sadness 'for me' but instead the ever warm glow of 'Welcome Back. Well it just made me sing the theme to Welcome Back Kotter each and every time I rode the elevator home. And was dutifully reminded, I do have dreams yet to dream again. And I haven't even reached for one. So to the staff of Washington Plaza Homestead, a great big thanks for the bottom of my heart in the most sincere and thankfulness to "

"The bathroom was quite cramped, and the air conditioning was also not working properly. When we arrived at the front desk for check-in, the front staff took almost 20 minutes to talk to us. Moreover, there were no other guests present, and no one else was attempting to check in."

"Bathrooms are in need of updating. The showers are so very outdated. The sheets and pillowcases are horrible and scratchy. The exterior of the building is in dire need of a facelift for the location. The bar and restaurant are closed indefinitely. The front desk staff was very friendly at check in however it took2 hours to get another set of towels from room service. "
