"While this hotel is at some distance from Motohakone (20mins easy walk on a mostly flat road), we found the property absolutely gorgeous, the lakeside views priceless, and the onsen just perfect. It was my friend's first time at the onsen and he loved it! The service was also topnotch and the hotel restaurants were both very good (we tried the French cuisine as well as the traditional Japanese cuisine). "We stayed a total of three nights in April 2025. Very nice hotel with good dining as long as you plan and book in advance. It has public sauna and Onsen that we enjoyed. The biggest thing we liked was Mt. Fuji view from the terrace, it was breathtaking. As the hotel is located on a small hill, you need to book the shuttle down to the Yamanakako lake area or book a taxi at the front desk."
