Hotels near Pacific Beach

"This is 44 acres resort, big and have tropical vibe, beautiful ponds, birds , fishes and turtles.. You are paying just for enjoying these amenities. Tennis court and miniature golf course are overrated. You do not have time to do these if you are doing sight seeing in San Diego. If you want to do any water activities around the bay, you have to pay for it. This is not inclusive of staying in that resort. be ware of it. Staffs are Ok. I did not get consistent service from them, some are cordial, some willing to do above and beyond. I, as customer has to initiate the greetings , then they greet it back to me. It has to be other way round. I am expecting "consistency" in this big resort. You are in the Hospitality business and I expect hospitability in every interaction with the staff. I rated your service as good but not outstanding. The resort need to work on giving the outstanding and memorable services."

"The location was extremely convenient, close to everything and right by the beach. However, on our first morning, they started doing construction work on the pool at 8:00am. The workers starting talking extremely loudly around 7:30am right behind our room, and the place became a construction zone for several hours. Management shouldn't have scheduled that type of work at 8am. And they didn't even warn us."

"I arrived with some skepticism—particularly due to my usual concerns about cleanliness and pests—but this property exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was impeccably clean, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the hot tub was well-maintained and spotless. Complimentary breakfast is offered, which is a great added value, although we chose not to take advantage of it due to our focus on eating healthy. While I noticed some guests mentioning noise concerns, this was not an issue for us. After spending a full day exploring San Diego and the beach, any background noise was minimal and easily managed. The room includes thoughtful touches like earplugs, and using the TV ( and they got a nice big tv ) or a fan effectively masks any outside sound. Even as a light sleeper, and with our room located directly across from the clubs, I slept comfortably without disruption. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-kept place to stay, I would highly recommend this property. I was genuinely impressed and will absolutely be returning in the near future."

"Nice place right on the beach. It's old but it had everything we needed. My kids loved the ping pong table while we BBQed. Nice fire pit to sit by and enjoy the evening. There is a grocery store right across the street if you forgot anything. I would recommend this place if you are not looking for fancy."
