"Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely.
Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful.

"Nicely decorated rooms, comfortable bed. Could offer more choice of eggs at breakfast (poached, scrambled). Was shocked to hear from the waitresses that if you want another cup of tea/coffee or even water with breakfast, that you have to pay for it! "

The spa was very relaxing, I had a massage and a swim/sauna afterwards.
The food was superb, breakfast and dinner were both amazing.
My room was quiet and had everything I needed, blackout curtains and comfy bed meant a great night's sleep.
The staff are incredible and really made my stay that much more enjoyable.
I will definitely stay again.

My only criticism would be that a lot of tables had reserved signs on them but when we asked about them we were told we could use them as they were 'not really' reserved ? It was only in case they needed to use them?"
