"Easy parking at the front of the hotel, friendly welcome. Loved that the check in was after 2pm! Room was an Exec Patio king which was on the ground floor of the new wing, overlooking the front. Very clean, with toiletries, iron ironing board, coffee machine, kettle, simple but good storage for a couple of nights stay. Shelving for own toiletries in bathroom and great mirrors/lighting. Hairdryer, smart tv. Comfortable bed and pillows, usb ports beside bed, blackout curtains, and patio door with outside table and chairs. To use the inside pool you were charged ยฃ10 for 2 sessions and were a towel. Lockers to use were ยฃ1. Very disappointing spa facilities. No shower gel/shampoo provided. One water replenishment machine was in an award position, in a unisex changing area, not in spa itself. The whirlpool didnโ€™t have any bubbles. Pool steps not clean and rubbish left in the sauna, unfortunately wonโ€™t be using again. The front reception/bar area did smell of sewage but not sure if thatโ€™s a permanent smell or the amount of rainfall. Despite the negativity we did have a lovely room and a good nights sleep. Breakfast was plentiful and a great choice of buffet."

"Several visits now. Staff and Food always excellent. The Steam Room in the Spa was Out of Order, which was a shame. I now mention it every time about the front door, it is so heavy and difficult to open. A motorised power door should be installed. Also, the state of the car park is atrocious. I don't care that it is a 3rd Party, It is bringing the hotel down."

"Excellent location. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Large hotel but felt comfortable and welcoming. Staff were lovely, especially breakfast and evening bar/restaurant staff. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Evening meal also good, though had same dessert two evenings, once excellent, once dire! Room was lovely, beds very comfortable. Bathroom could have done with a more thorough clean ( dust in places and obvious washable marks on floor) Struggled to work TV, an idiots guide would have been useful. Didnโ€™t use gym so canโ€™t comment. Overall a very comfortable stay, perfect for our requirements and would return."
