Huge bathroom and walk in shower on first floor with hand-wash ect luxurious And top floor with free standing bath delightfull. Stairs are very steep but perfectly manageable. Toilet up first flight of stairs. Parking interesting as on the street...but we always found somewhere....would stay...

The local church bells add such a lovely, traditional touch to the stay. We also spent some time at The White Lion pub, which we’d definitely recommend to other travelers. "Found this to be a lovely big hotel about a 10 minute walk from the train station and the shops. The Stray was over the road which was handy for dog walks. Our room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable large bed and large TV and the water was nice and hot for showers or a bath.. The hospitality tray wasn’t well stocked but extra items could be obtained from reception. One of the reception staff was a bit grumpy but all the other staff we came across were very friendly and helpful especially the guys in the breakfast area. As we had a dog with us we couldn’t eat in the restaurant but that was no problem as we preferred it in the lounge area. The breakfast was amazing. Probably the best I had had in a hotel. The food was fresh and plentiful and I was pleased to see fresh fruit was included. The 4 of us had a wonderful stay celebrating my Sisters Birthday."
