"I cannot say enough good things about this hotel & staff. It is within walking distance to both the Louvre & Metro, so it is well situated to travel within Paris. Hotel is smartly appointed with an eye for detail. Check-in was pleasant, quick & included a glass of champagne as well as a tour of the hotel. We opted for the 'Family Suite' which had 2 bathrooms & adjoining entry. Staff was attentive, friendly & very helpful. We had a misfortunate experience with our airline that resulted in our luggage being completely soaked. The entire staff was extremely attentive & provided immediate assistance and even supplied us with coins for the local laundry mat! The rest of the stay went like a breeze & fully enjoyed all the amenities the hotel had to offer. If you want to feel like royalty, without all of the fuss - the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal is for you!"
