"Beautiful hotel room with aquarium. Nice staff and clean room. Our shower drain clogged the second day. Check in line was a very long wait, possibly due to people still checking out late. Even with a few downsides, we would still stay here again."

"That I'm aware this is the best place in this area. It's a former Hyatt. There is a new Sheraton nearby which I haven't stayed at but is also probably good. Big good shopping mall a couple blocks away and good Arab food nearby and my favorite restaurant Casa Armas a few blocks away with Spanish food. The area around the hotel is all kind od honky tonk karaoke bars and generally very low end and down and out and girls on their last dollar. I wouldn't take my wife there. I like this hotel because it's smack in the middle and pool facing rooms are very quiet. My stay was downright cheap. Good value for money."
