"Sainsbury is just a short walk from the hotel and Bothams have opened a cafe just up the road. Bothams started as a bakery selling goods from a basket at the market, it has grown into a Whitby succes story and well worth a visit. It gets busy, because it is good. Whitby centre is a short drive away, but the parking is expensive, so a take a walk down the hill, it is only half an hour."

"This is a room in a pub. But our room was to a high standard and almost large enough to be a suite. Absolutely in the centre of Whitby. Breakfast was good and hearty too. Could do with more power sockets in the room, though."

"Had a 1 night mid-week stay here & it was brilliant. From check in to leaving it was all done quickly & smoothly. The apartment was nice, comfy & spacious. Even though its part of a pub albeit next to not above it was really quiet & didnt hear a thing from the pub itself. The staff were really friendly & acomadating & so were the locals who frequent the pub. Would highly recommend staying in here to anyone & i certainly would again when in the area."
