"Such a great hotel, I can't say enough good things about it. The room (wow!) was awesome, fantastic and I had the most restful and amazing sleep during my stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Totally recommend you visit and experience this for yourself, I guarantee you will not be disappointed."

"The breakfast menu was fine but the meal was spread between three rooms with the hot food in one and the cold food in another. All of the public rooms had a form of jazz played quite loudly over the speaker system you couldn't escape it."

"Stayed for 2 nights. Just perfect. Breakfast perfect. Main meals perfect. Staff perfect. Room was just fabulously perfect. The uneven floors were beautful and the effort made to keep it looking old is to be applauded. The doors were awesome. We find somewhere like this every year around this time for our birthdays and anniversary. Always somewhere with history and central to exploring. First time in 100s we'll be coming back.The whole bodmin area is astounding and the Jamaica is the perfect base from which to explore. 12th c Knights Templar church is a must find, and Lady in the Lake (Excalibur) OMG."
