Top Mevagissey Hotel Reviews

The Falmouth Hotel

The Falmouth Hotel

8/10 Good
"The room was clean but a bit tired. The furniture is old and a bit well worn. We booked a room with a sea view (executive deluxe) and paid extra for this, but the windows were very dirty and the only view was through the small opening of the windows!! Hardly a proper sea view! The bathroom was clean and spacious but the bath with shower over lacked grabrails and extreme care had to be taken when entering and leaving the shower especially with a wet floor. This could be very dangerous for someone with mobility issues. The breakfast on the first day of our 2 day stay was average. The bacon on the full English was so small it was not worth having and the food was rather over-cooked and had clearly been hanging around. The food on the second day was excellent with no issues."

"Super staff, excellent location! The property is dated and it shows. Breakfast spread was sufficient but not expansive and felt monotonous eating the same everyday. Overall, Iโ€™d say slightly on the expensive side but definitely a great place to explore Newquay and thereabouts from."
