The property is authentic old-world charm with interesting ruins on the property. Beds were comfortable and our two dinners on the property were delicious! "Place was amazing. The drive from Orvieto is slow narrow roads uphill for 30-45 min. Then full stop……….. the place is an incredible castle with amazing views and surroundings. Living back in ancient Roman days. What a castle and fortress. The staff were great. The grounds and views amazing especially sunset and sun rise. Dinner was incredible experience - big group dinner for all guests services on platters in an ancient dining area. 6-8 courses ( depending how you break it up) and very reasonable price for lots of wonderful Local prepared food. - pastas and meats and chacquertie. Their own grown wine is very good and affordable. Breakfast was amazing and had so much variety of fresh and hot - healthy and comfort. The castle was quite something. Room had all amenities and nothing to complain about. Should we come back to this region - we would come back for sure. I write a long review as they are very important to me. Of you took time to read mine. This is a 10 of 10 place and you would love this place if what I say matters to you ! "
