"We had such a wonderful stay at the Gran Hotel Margalida. Mikel and the entire staff were so kind and accommodating—we had an unusual request to have them coordinate the arrival and pickup of over 500lbs of camera equipment during our stay (long story), and they took care of it without any hiccups. Our room had a spectacular ocean view, and the breakfast was among the best I've had in any hotel. We also loved the buggy that helped us to the beach and back! It's hard to imagine a better stay, and we were truly saddened to say goodbye to so many of the lovely staff who made our stay so special."

"I rarely write reviews, but this place absolutely deserves one. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by beautiful Spanish architecture, with the hotel nestled within a stunning, spacious estate. The entire property has an incredible atmosphere. The staff are genuinely some of the friendliest and most helpful we’ve encountered in all our travels. The food is excellent, the restaurant service is fantastic, and the live bands playing every evening add something really special to the experience. We stayed in a standard room, and even that was surprisingly spacious, with plenty of room for all our luggage and everything we needed. It was extremely comfortable and made it very easy to settle in and relax. We’ve travelled extensively and stayed in a lot of hotels around the world, and this would easily rank among our top three favourite hotels we’ve ever stayed at. An absolutely beautiful hotel and a fantastic experience from start to finish. We will definitely be back."

"The location and views are amazing, and the hotel itself is beautiful. The pool and surrounding area are also really nice and relaxing. We especially enjoyed the breakfast — there was a great variety in the buffet and everything was really good. However, the hotel feels like it was a great property years ago but hasn’t been renovated or properly maintained since. Our first room was extremely hot because the AC wasn’t working properly, although we were eventually given another room that was much better. The bathrooms need more attention, as we noticed some rust and red mold around the taps. Parking is also a major issue — if you have a car, be prepared to spend a long time looking for a parking spot. Overall, 3/5. The beautiful location, views, pool, and breakfast are definitely highlights, but the rooms and bathrooms would benefit from some renovation and better maintenance."
