"The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying...

"Beautiful resort! The premium room on the 5th floor with view of Mirror Lake was absolutely stunning and was amazing to wake up and watch the sunrise over Mirror Lake! Kids loved the lemonade and fresh baked cookies in the lobby in the evening and the little town with shops made for a perfect evening in walking distance. Very nice indoor pool and hot tub. Very clean and well maintained."

Our bathroom trash can had bio debri plastered to the bottom. I expected Cambria to be more soundproof from neighboring rooms but it wasn’t bad, tolerable. Dish TV was in and out due to wind. Hotel would be my choice next visit to Lake Placid"
