Ramada by Wyndham Watertown/Thousand Islands NY

Ramada by Wyndham Watertown/Thousand Islands NY

8/10 Good
"Older hotel that seems like they are trying to clean up, room was clean but we were unable to control the temperature of the room which made for uncomfortable sleeping. Pool was outside and very cold, that may have been my mistake. Breakfast was good."

Holiday Inn Resort Lake George - Adirondack Area by IHG

"Central location, nice amenities for the kids with extra little touches like nightime outdoor kids movies and complimentary smore kits. However, the smores activity ends at 9pm and we didn’t know. There’s a small sign but we never noticed it and no one had advised us from the hotel so that should have been more clear. Also, the sofa beds in the rooms are actually terrible. Very uncomfortable to the ooint where you cannot sleep on it, so had to sleep on the couch instead. The property could use a refurbishing, but that goes for all hotels in Lake George."

Capt.'s Inn & Suites

Capt.'s Inn & Suites

10/10 Excellent
"Very clean rooms. Air conditioning worked well. I always check mattresses, and they have covers zippered over the mattress. So I unzipped the cover and the mattress was very clean. Even at the seams where bed bugs could hide. The staff is super friendly. Pool was clean and pleasant. Not a bad price. My room wasn't a large room, (it was a two bed room), but nice. Motel is like a block or two from the eateries and boat tour places."

"It felt like we were in the Dirty Dancing movie! Everything about this resort was amazing. We had an excellent dinner at the restaurant one night. We sat by the fire pit 3 nights and ordered dessert (great cheesecake & lava cake). The proximity to downtown was phenomonal. I forgot that there was beach access, and although it was a little far (we drove), the beach & clubhouse were top notch on Mirror Lake and I cannot believe the paddle boards and kayaks were FREE! We spent more time here then I thought.. my kids couldn’t get enough! The reception staff were very helpful with recommendations. We used the onsite laundry (I wish there were more machines). The indoor pool was great! We stayed in a grand room with a Kitchen… it was huge! The 1.5 bathrooms was nice and the Murphy bed was very comfortable as the 2nd bed option. The resort exceeded my expectations!"

"Rooms need repair. Bed frame was broken. Wall paper was peeling off the wall. Continental breakfast would have been fine if they would have cleaned the tables and manned the food. Eggs were empty. Orange juice was water. Very poor"
