"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The property was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the overall experience. One suggestion that would make the hotel even better for families would be to add a playground or more outdoor activities for young children. Having a safe outdoor space where little ones could play would be a great addition and would make the hotel even more family-friendly."

"Was a really cool stay overall! Had a few inconveniences like no standing shower available in the room we had or microwave past 8pm. Feels very outdoorsy which is still nice, very cabin in the woods vibe and refreshing mornings. Assuming previous guest rolled luggage in room and placed bags on the bed runner and it wasnโ€™t cleaned. Had to request clean sheets but staff were pretty responsive and pleasant. Area is great can take a quick trolly to main street for free or even walk."

Riveredge Resort

Riveredge Resort

8/10 Good
"This hotel has a terrific location and great breakfast. I stayed previously and if you get in earlier, you can enjoy a fun evening in the lounge. They had music last time with some good flatbread. . They do have 24 hour wine bottles and some alcohol coolers but no beer available for purchase in the lobby area. The downside to the hotel is the outdated rooms. Comfortable enough but not anything exceptional. Definitely, missing modern touches and furnishings. Views are great but patio could be vastly more usable with a screen door to let In some fresh air. Patios are stacked in a way that neighbors are basically in your space assuming you both have similar schedules. A lively update would really make this place a perfect stop. Easy walking distance to much of the town and ample parking available. Staff was very friendly which I did not expect after reading some recent reviews. Our waitress at breakfast was very good as were our breakfast sandwiches. We ate on the patio with nice views of Boldt castle. Also, no evidence of bedbugs as described in some recent reviews. TV was satellite so many viewing options. Overall, very good stay. Highly recommend they switch up the outdated carpeting in the hallways, redo the bathrooms and buy some new furniture to replace the dated 70s feel. With a cleaned up look reviews would be much higher."
