The pool was fabulous and the spa/massage was excellent. We also loved the amazing breakfast. Finally, the people who worked at the hotel could not have been more attentive or helpful. Overall a perfect stay.

Breakfast and dinner are superb, every dish on the menu was amazing. Stunning views from the villa and main pool. Service is outstanding, staff is very attentive and address guests by their names. As others noted the rooms look a bit old and requires renovation. For example, the aircon in the villa is very loud. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment.

We had the most amazing time at Hanging Gardens of Bali. It's a stunning location with friendly staff, incredible food, and beautiful views. We were welcomed with marigold garlands and drinks, and the service was exceptional. We also tried the spa services, and the massage and bath were both relaxing and unique. This is a must-visit place to stay in Ubud, and I highly recommend it!

This beautiful resort is a must-do on your Bali bucket list. Friendly staff. Check in process could be improved (by not having to register your own account in their very buggy platform on your own device) but otherwise everything is seamless with stunning jungle beauty and tasty food.

Definitely a place for couple retreat/honeymoon for some own personal time. Service and staff are excellent. The traffic to get to the hotel is way long. 2.5 to 3 hours for about 20miles.

One of the best hotels we have ever been too

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a lot of very beautiful and luxury hotels. I can’t express enough how wonderful the whole team are. They are so kind and helpful and the property is insanely beautiful. Would love to return one day. Hanging Gardens is a magical place that is well worth every penny you spend there.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. My wife and I were staying in Bali for our honeymoon and upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite with an amazing view and private pool. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food at the hotel was 5 stars. While this hotel is a bit more expensive than others in Ubud, it is far superior and worth every penny. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Ubud area that would like a quiet setting away from the hustle of the city with exquisite jungle views. We could not get enough of walking the grounds of the hotel as there are flowers and fruit trees everywhere.

Our stay at Hanging Gardens of Bali was unforgettable—not just for the breathtaking views, but for the people. From arrival, you’re treated like family. Smiles are everywhere, and if you’re a fan of Cheers, this truly feels like a place where everyone knows your name. The attentiveness is seamless—leave for breakfast, and your room is perfectly refreshed before you return. The food is exceptional. The restaurant is Michelin-level, and the bakery is outstanding—the croissants are perfect, and the pain au chocolat (pound chocolate) is incredible. Communication is also top-tier. Through WhatsApp, the team shares real-time updates on events, activities, weather, and local conditions—always proactive and reassuring. What stood out most was their care when we became sick. The team checked in constantly, offering tea, water, and anything we needed. They even arranged a doctor to come directly to our villa—professional, knowledgeable, and seamless. The property itself is stunning—lush jungle views, a serene pool, beautiful rooms, spa, gym, and unique funiculars with friendly operators always ready to help. But ultimately, it’s the people who make this place special. When we left, staff—including the manager—came out to wave goodbye. We weren’t ready to go. Sometimes, it’s the family you make along the way—and here, you truly find one.
