"We only stayed one night. The hotel is a bit older, but they keep it very clean and everyone was super nice. The breakfast was exceptional. They had eggs, ham, biscuits, toast, sausage gravy hash browns and French toast. Plus lots of extra cold items. The fire pit outside by the water was a fun extra."

"It was a pleasant experience. I happened to be staying there when hurricane Sally hit. My room stayed fine. However, the lobby was damaged by the winds and rain, lost power and water. The staff and manager on hand were excellent. They didn’t act frazzled or anxious. They took care of matters and us guests. I really enjoyed the history of the hotel, too. "
