The carpet inside the lift was worn, the dining room ceiling was patched up; in my room the tiles surrounding the bath needed re grouting, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling away in the corners and the furniture in my bedroom was shabby and required revarnishing and the paintwork in my room needed touching up and the window frames needed cleaning. "The Nook was exceptionally clean and everything looked as if it were never used before. The kitchen was fully equipped. The beds were comfortable and a smart tv in room meant I could relax and watch a movie. It was only 15 minute walk to town. The place itself was a bit hard to find. Google maps were sending me close but I eventually had to ask a local where Alexander road was."

"Absolutely loved our stay in St Ives. Green Apple b&b exceeded all expectations and we will definitely be back. Adrian is a truly wonderful host who made us feel comfortable at all times and nothing was too much trouble. He was always available when we needed him and extremely pleasant to talk to. "We stayed as a group of friends for the one night only on a motorcycling tour of Cornwall. The Pub was tired and obviously a locals pub. The room was off the courtyard and again was very tired and would not have wanted to stay in winter as I would imagine it would be very cold. The shower worked well. There was a kettle and coffee but we decided against drinking coffee as the inside of the kettle was very old and covered in black scale! It served the purpose but would not stay there again"
