"The bathroom shower area does not have a fully closable glass panel. It is only half closed and because of the gap the water comes out when taking a shower. "Chennai is a hella busy place but it doesn't feel like it when you stay here. It's off the main road and no through roads so not any traffic other than local traffic. Very peaceful and quiet. "The staff was wonderful, kind and always eager to help. The elevators smelled strongly of food the entire stay. The fourth floor smelled musty as soon as you exited the elevator. The room was nice and organized well but the bathroom shower was moldy. I hate leaving anything negative since the staff was above and beyond amazing, but the condition of the shower was disgusting and the moldy smell was off-putting. I'd have forgiven the elevator smell if the other two hadn't be an issue."

"The Staff at Trident hotel Chennai love their job. I found them all courteous, helpful and very willing to answer all my questions. This was my first visit to Chennai this April 2024. I stayed between 04/24 -04/28. During this time the hotel Concierge recommended me to the best tourist sights including shopping areas.
