The hotel was amazing in every area. The only thing i would suggest is they add more powerpoints especially near the beds as it was really hard finding any or we had to share.

The aircon didn’t work and the tv didn’t work so had to seek help from staff. Both were fixed. We arrived during unseasonally cold weather so found the public areas uncomfortabley cold. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. The hotel is housed in a historic old building but could do with a cosmetic facelift.

Overall it was a nice stay, the hotel itself is nice and clean check in was slightly rocky with navigating where the actual entry is but overall its a decent place.

Beautiful building. Terrace room was lovely. So close to shops, cafes, botanical gardens etc complimentary breakfast was good. The room would have benefited from extra towels, much nicer in house bathroom supplies (soap etc), in house movies and a stocked mini bar. A guest information book about the building, room and area would have been great too. We loved our stay.

Great place to stay.

We knew this hotel when it was Bishop’s House. Now a comfortable and traditional hotel with friendly staff. Very convenient to the CBD and free CAT services. Breakfast was delicious, great coffee and it’s lovely to sit out the front watching the world go by. Rooms are super comfortable, quiet and the coffee machine was a plus! We will definitely stay here again.

Great location on St Georges Tce and hotel charming with old world styling. Loved being able to sit out the front of the hotel for drinks and bar snacks in early evening. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good coffee. Breakfast is included but very limited. Not buffet as Wotif site notes.
