"This hotel doesn't have a functioning elevator and they wanted us to walk up 3 flights of stairs without help with our luggage so he just put us on the 1st floor, Our TV didn't work, my husband noticed the USB in the back was broken, when asked for one to fix it, they gave us a key to another room to rip theirs out of the TV to use for ours so now that room doesn't have a functioning TV, and being on the 1st floor they do their laundry and all you hear is banging from the dryer vibrating our walls, the breakfast was mediocre at best. Smelled like cigarettes, pics online are deceiving. Would never stay there again."

"Not soundproofed rooms, you can hear people talking too loud even banging doors in nearby rooms. Our first night was a mess, we couldn’t sleep until 4 a.m. due to noise. Exhaust fan in washroom too loud. Toilet seat moving. Hair dryer not working. Tv not working. Poor wifi connection. Phone in the room has no dial tone. Fitness center- out of order Free breakfast, but you have to take your food in your room, there are only 4 tables in the dining area. We’re just lucky that there’s not much people staying to dine in. Overall, not a pleasant stay. We have to request to move to a different room the following day, which is way better; with TV, phone and hair dryer working, faster internet connection. The staff were nice and very accommodating though. The hotel is old, but clean with a comfortable bed. But sorry, we may not recommend this hotel; a bad experience compared to the previous hotel we had."

"Hotel was amazing and owner very friendly. However we booked on Expedia because included free breakfast however owner wanted to charge us $20 pp. we went off site for breakfast. Also couldn’t get the TV to work in the living room, we made the owner aware."

"Absolutely a must-stay for lovers of art and design. The whole property is immaculate, and the room was comfortable and quiet. Delicious drinks and pastries are steps away at Father Forgive Me and Warda Patisserie. The location is also convenient to downtown (15 minutes). "
