Very wonderful staff. Nice place in safe Area, only 11 rooms. But very beautiful. You can feel the peace and stay very comfortable. Just a great place to stay...!!!

Good place in Phnom Penh
It was all good, got a room with balcony as requested and they even remembered I came before ("same room as last time, Sir"), which is always appreciated on business travels. Hotel is clean and cute, nice boutique with plenty of dining options around as it's an expat influenced area. I can recommend "Aussie XXL" for dinner, a pub close by that has decent pizzas and ribs, good value for money.

Quiet boutique hotel well located
Nice quiet hotel with friendly and helpful staff! They made me feel comfortable and were always there to help out. The rooms are nice enough with a small kitchenette though I wonder if they are ever used, given the food options in the neighbourhood!

Lovely boutique hotel
This hotel is a peaceful sanctuary after a busy day sightseeing. My room was large and airy and there is beautiful art work on the walls. The pool is very inviting and great to cool off. It is an easy walk to Tuol Sleng and a short tuk tuk to the palace. The staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. You will love this place!

OK For a Quick Stopover
The staff here were pleasant and helpful whenever we asked for assistance. It was sometimes difficult to find them and on one occasion it appeared the front desk person was lounging by the pool. The room was large but had no view and felt like being trapped in a box. It was also noisy and we often hear thumping and banging through the floor or noise from the staff in the corridor outside our room or other guests as the lobby is open up to the first floor. We didn't eat here so cannot comment on the food but the kitchen and eating area were small. The pool has no privacy as it is next to the eating area and it is quite small. There are a number of good restaurants nearby and it is an easy tuk-tuk or car to most places.

Great Stay!
The staffs were friendly. Location is convenient and room cleanliness was tip-top. Basically, the pool is just a small indoor built pool.Balcony view towards the street is great!

Exceptional customer service
The staff is very friendly and prompt with service. We were served welcome drinks upon arrival, which is timely due to the sweltering hot weather in May. Check in was done in no time and we were escorted to our room, with our luggage brought to the room a few seconds later. Their staff is always ready to help, yet never intrusive. Simple gestures such as helping us look out for traffic when we are trying to cross the street to get back to the hotel and reminding us to keep safe are really thoughtful, especially for 2 female travellers. Being a boutique hotel, the staff could provide personalised services and that makes us feel at home, away from home.

Great boutique hotel in a great location!
We stayed for 2 nights and had a nice time. Our room was on the 2nd floor. It was very clean & pretty quiet. It was very hot out when we visited so the one thing I might suggest is keeping the AC on while out for the day because the unit takes time to cool off the room. It is a non-issue otherwise. Breakfast is made to order with eggs, meat, fruit and yogurt choices. There's also noodles if you prefer local flavors. Fairly close to everything if you hire a tuk tuk to get around. Short trips about USD$2-3 one way. We hired one for a full day including Killing Fields which is about 15 km from Phnom Penh and it cost USD $25. I highly recommend Teav Boutique Hotel. Thank you to the staff for making our stay memorable!

Idyllic little oasis in a hectic city
I unexpectedly loved Phnom Penh, and staying at the TEAV Boutique Hotel was a big part of that. It is a small hotel (only two floors), arranged round a semi-covered courtyard where there is a nice little pool, quiet bar/restaurant area, and some sun loungers and loggias. My room upstairs was huge, with an entrance hall, small kitchenette, large main bedroom, big bathroom separated by a glass wall and sliding door, and a balcony overlooking the pool. The bed was really comfortable, lots of plug sockets for those with a caseload of appliances, great shower, and nice fast wifi. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was good, and it is in a nice part of town. There's plenty of bars and restaurants nearby (particularly recommend the Feliz Hostel), and if you feel so inclined there's a range of American chains here too. Really lovely spot from which to explore the city, as you can properly relax and unwind at the hotel afterwards.

Little luxurious oasis of calm in a nice area
I stayed here for two nights on a solo trip, in a Premium Double room, no.203. It was so, so nice. The room was huge, with an outer hall (breakfast bar and armchairs) and an adjoining kitchenette, and then the main bedroom through a sliding door. The bed was massive and very comfy, with nice bedding and attractive wall designs above. The large bathroom is through a glass partition with a sliding door, and is done out in a sort of 'concrete chic'. The rainfall shower was divine, although the hot water did take a while to come through. The room also has a balcony overlooking the pool with lots of overhanging greenery, and I reckon 203 has the best view of the lot. It also is at the back, so is in the quietest location. The room's air-con was nice and quiet. Downstairs the pool is short but pleasant, and there are a few sunbeds and loggias for relaxing. The restaurant/bar is also there, which makes for a pleasantly calm spot for the complimentary breakfast or if you want lunch/dinner. I had two lunches there which were both very nice. The hotel is in a pleasant part of this slightly crazy city, with various bars and restaurants nearby. Should the need for a dose of home take you (particularly if you're American) then this area is a bit of a hotspot for fast food chains, but not in a way that spoils it in my view. I really enjoyed my stay here, taking advantage of the peace to kick back and relax for a bit after slogging around Bangkok and Angkor.

Comfortable stay
It was overall a pleasant stay at a convenient and safe location. Though we started on a bad note (driver to pick us up from hotel was confirmed but not confirmed), the remaining of our stay was comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional as well. The only other concern I had were the numerous mosquitoes everywhere, even in our room at night, leaving me nursing many bites. But I understand this to be a problem plaguing the city and not unique to the hotel.

Clean and Friendly
This is an excellent Hotel, small and intimate. Room size is good with comfortable beds and services. Very clean and Great WiFi. However, what makes this Hotel great is its staff. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming, engaging guests and making us feel appreciated. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful in everything we asked and went out of their way to help us "tourists". Mr. Sim, well you just cant get any better. We left the hotel with very fond memories and truly feel as we were made feel so welcomed.Our Tuk Tuk driver associated with the hotel was also excellent in bringing us where we wanted to go and putting up with our barrage of questions. We have made friends there, friends that we will continue to be in contact with,. Would recommend this hotel and most importantly its staff to anyone traveling to Cambodia. Thank you all for everything you did for us, and again, Sim, thank you so much for everything, especially the medication for the mosquito bites :)

Stylish boutique hotel in good part of town
One of very many boutique hotels in Phnom Penh, but with a great sense of style. The minimalist design carries throughout the hotel, and is really striking. The foyer is open to the elements from the side, and there's something very special sitting at a table in the bar by the pool (which is also the hotel lobby) while the rains come down. The staff are friendly, the WiFi is very good, and we even got a free update to a small suite. The bar/restaurant is fairly small (the right size for the hotel), and the menu fairly conservative, but there's a mix of asian and western food. It would be nice if it was noted anywhere whether the ice was from filtered water, but apart from that no complaints. The only real issue was that the decor in the room was a bit grubby and worn; a fresh coat of paint and a bit of a deep clean would really make it shine again. Overall, a really nice, chic place to stay in a great area of town for eateries and bars.

Amazing hotel! Beautiful rooms!
I loved my stay at TEAV! Location was great and walking distance to the independence monument, as well as a coffee shop and Burger King 1 block away. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My only issue was with 1 staff that was instructing me to go see Wat Pho the evening that I arrived and I was about to leave when another staff told me it was closing. That staff was also a little pushy with me getting a tuk tuk driver for the next day..not quite sure why but the rest of the staff was absolutely amazing. So welcoming and polite. My room was gorgeous, spacious and luxurious. And to top it off, I had a large private balcony with cute patio furniture. The breakfast is a la carte and delicious - this was included in my room cost. I also ordered room service and it was yummy and a great price. They also offer in room massages which was a nice way to relax at the end of the day - the masseuse was at my door within 20mins. I would def recommend this hotel to everyone!

Excellent, would stay there again.
Very friendly and helpful staff at this place. Rooms are large and clean and the shower is awesome. Location is very close to the S21 Tol Sleung Genocide museum and the independence monument. Pnom Penh is not big and if you dont mind walking ~30min you can walk to most things. Very good value for money.

Last days in Cambodia before heading home
Unfortunately we had mad two separate but consecutive bookings. The hotel staff did not recognise that we had bookings that were consecutive and made us shift rooms after the first night, because the room they put us in initially had been specifically booked by another customer. The rooms were comfortable although a bit worse for wear; mould around the shower cubicle, noisy bathroom exhaust fans, non operating reading light, water continuously trickling out of a hole in the wall in the shower etc, but the fresh fruit in the room was appreciated. The hotel is close to fast food outlets but a reasonable distance from the National Museum and the Royal Palace. The hotel has its own tuk-tuk out the front. Breaskfast was a set menu ordered individually.

Great little hotel with wonderful customer service
This hotel has the most helpful and gracious staff! I came in early from a night bus and they were kind enough to let me take a much needed nap at the pool while they got a room ready. They upgraded me into a beautiful suite. Sleek and modern, it was a fantastic room that included a comfortable bed, great air conditioning, toiletries, bathrobes, etc. They will set up tuk-tuks for you and help to ensure a decent fee (westerners will get taken advantage of!). $1-2 for a quick ride to a restaurant, $3-5 to a site seeing place nearby, $7 tot the airport (be prepared for at least 30min through traffic). Breakfast was not included with my room fee, but was inexpensive and delicious. The onsite restaurant and its staff were great. The downside of the room would be no hot water in the shower and very loud water system (you can hear the rumble of the room above when they turn on the water & vice/versa).

Disappointing. Avoid!
1. Room has many mosquitos 2. If you try to bring a guest in the room, the front staff will tell you no unless you give him $10 bribe 3. Hotel asked me to pay $25 for a small stain on the blanket. I googled the method online to remove stain and hotel settled for $12.5. Rip-off! 4. Very small hotel. There is no lobby area. Not a boutique hotel!

It’s a deep regret to hear that you didn’t have a great experience in staying with us which was contrasted from the huge majority of our guests who had pleasant stay and given very much appreciation. In theory, " customer is a king" but that should be a good king too. Indeed, in order to ensure the security and the tranquility of all our guests, we do not allow any unregistered visitors in the rooms. The visitor MUST drop her ID or Passport at the Front Desk. At our front gate and hotel website, there is a notice " We're against sex tourism", as well as by Cambodia Law, it obliges every hotel that all guests must be registered and present their ID or PASSPORT on arrival. It is the job of our staff to implement the rule and for your safety reason. They would not have the questions (you interpreted it as bribe) if you respected our policy. All of our staff was well trained and it is a VERY STRICT internal regulation that they never get any bribe for any reason, otherwise, they will be immediately terminated. After a serious investigation, we found out that you created the untrue story because you were unhappy that our staff didn't allow your lady visitor into your room. It is the hotel policy (it is applied for every hotel in the world) that if the guest damaged any hotel property, he has to pay for it. Actually, you made a deep blood stain on the blanket which can not be removed, so that you have to pay for it. We did a great respect to you that we already discounted 50% for the damage. Quiet oasis in busy PP
I really enjoyed this hotel. It is very stylish with a good vibe. Great use of space. Pool in the evening was sublime. Room was great. Service was excellent, especially at breakfast. It's on a relatively quiet street in a busy part of PP that has nice restaurants and clubs.

Exceptional service
Arriving at the wrong TEAV hotel, the staff kindly offered to drive us to TEAV Boutique Hotel. The service was consistently amazing for the three days we stayed there. I briefly mentioned that it would be nice to have a room with a balcony and we were offered to change rooms the next day! Nothing was too hard. The rooms were large, the breakfast was great and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is one block away from Maliv, a nice restaurant serving Cambodian cuisine. You might need to book. It should cost you between $2-$3 to get to most places including the Russian Market, the Central Market, the Genocide Museum and Riverside. Make sure you visit the FCC rooftop bar for a refreshing drink and beautiful view.

a nice cosy hotel
Teav Boutique Hotel , A nice little homely hotel situated in a better district of Phnom Penh well known for hotels and food outlets nearby such as Burger King & Gloria Jeans such round the corner 2 minutes walk . Rooms are of good size , nicely decorated with all in room amenities which you may need for your stay, comfy bed , pillows, aircon, and cosy design, nice large size bathroom with rain shower, only let down of the stay is that water shower temperature does not remain constant , from cold to hot, and need adjustment all the time when one is having a shower. Breakfast is with good choice offering a menu whereby you can chose how your 1st meal of day will be to your liking . Price wise, it a little on the high side compare to comparable similar star boutique hotel but main advantage will be the location as it on almost like a main street whereby walking around at night make you safe than most other hotel has to offer. Will stay again , provide prices does not increase to much Thanks Leon

Xcellent hotel with great staff! Great breakfast and coffee. Only drawback was the slow wifi, but we generally use 4G data anyways.

Excellent hotel. Fantastic room. Lovely staff.
The hotel is excellent in all points of view. The staff is extremely and genuinely attentive which can be at times overwhelming if you are an independent character. There are quite a number of local eating places within a short distant of the hotel which are worth the experience: cheap, friendly and relax. A Tuk Tuk can be arranged by the hotel to visit Angkor temple complex. If you are to take photos, go very early morning as by 9 am the temples start being overcrowded by visitors.There are many handicraft shops nearby the hotel. However you can find the same items in Phnom Penh Shops and markets for up to 3 times cheaper. Eg a wooden Buddha statue that I purchase in Phnom Penh at 45 US, the exact same items was marked between 90 to 185 US in those shops. There 's an excellent silk scarce shop at the back end of the island Art Market and I would recommend Mooglee shop in the same market for those who love T.shirt and coton scarves.
