"Staff were exceptionally helpful. Took our luggage up the stairs and were waiting for us when we arrived. Welcomed warmly by the manager and once checked in felt like home away from home! We didn’t do kayaking but available if you intend to do so. Private baths or outside baths available which we took advantage of. Possibly for some guests may find the property a bit older but was adequate for what we wanted. View you get makes up for it. I’d certainly return to this place if I’m ever in Fuji-san area again. "

"Our stay was great. The staff was great. It was raining but we still had a great time. The room felt huge and was comfortable with heat and air. The curtains worked great. It's great to have an entire grill area to yourself. Just bring some food to grill. There's a small market within walking distance (.5mile) that has things like deer sausage and veggies. There's also a restaurant next to the market. You'll have to walk to get here or take a taxi but the bus stops are about half a mile away. We only had backpacks so walking through the countryside was a nice and relaxing treat for us. "
