"Very friendly staff and nice overall property. Parking was a problem in the fact that it was difficult to get a parking spot and the cost was crazy considering. As a family it was nice to have a place to be a family with a kitchen and things to entertain the kids. The pool heater was broken and Expedia doesn't discloses the parking fees or other fees associated with booking this property."

"The hotelโs location is excellentโjust steps from the lake, within walking distance of many restaurants, a short drive to Nevada for even more dining options, and only about 20 minutes from the famous California state parks of Emerald Bay and D.L. Bliss. The Deluxe Queen room we stayed in was clean and well maintained, and surprisingly spacious. It had a huge bathroom as well as a separate living area with a microwave and mini fridge. Fluffy towels. All of the staff members I encountered were professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. On the second day, just before noon, there was an unexpected city-wide power outage that affected not only South Lake Tahoe but areas all the way to Carson City, Nevada. With no way to get food in townโor even within a half-hour driveโwe decided to leave a day early. I spoke with the front desk about checking out early and receiving a refund for the remaining night, and asked to speak with someone who could authorize it. The front desk contacted the hotel manager, Scott, who calmly and graciously approved the request. He assured us that he would process the refund as soon as the hotelโs system came back onlineโand he did exactly that. Great location, a comfortable room, and, most importantly, wonderful people to work with. Thatโs really all I can say!"
