"I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at Angels Inn. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. There was an extra blanket. No rugs on the floor - hard floor only, but it seemed clean. Definitely budget amenities (soap etc) but they were sufficient. Nice towels. What I was liked the most was the modern room darkening shades that actually had the helpful box at the top so the light doesn't come in at the top of the curtains. Now it did come in a bit at the bottom of the curtains, but the room remained relatively dark. We were near the road and there was a bit of road noise, but not bad and nothing a pair of earplug wouldn't block out."

There is a large fridge and freezer for guests to keep their personal items and a toaster and microwave. I enjoyed sharing coffee with my fellow travelers. It is right across the street from the Iron Door Saloon - oldest saloon in California. Absolutely recommend staying here for a great Yosemite/Gold rush town experience."
