"This hotel is beyond gorgeous, relaxing, and goes above and beyond! Everyone is so friendly and will help you with anything you need. "Wow, wow wow... We booked Uzenie wondering if the rave reviews were too good to be true. There are not. The hotel is exceptional - we have stayed in many places all over the world and Uzenie is genuinely the best. What makes it so fantastic are the amazing staff - their attitude and attention to detail was exemplary. They really go out of their way to be helpful - a few examples: my husband had some important work calls but the rooms are not set up with desks but one of the managers gave up their office so he could work there, we moved rooms as we decided to upgrade to a pool suite - they remembered that we wanted extra pillows and they arrived without us asking for them. They checked every night that we were happy with the fish at the buffet dinner (also amazing) and prepared something separately if we asked for it. Breakfasts also excellent - good coffee, amazing fresh fruit and pretty much anything you could want. Everyone who works there seems to really care about the well being of the guests and invested in ensuring you have a good time. The rooms are immaculate - comfortable beds, we loved having our own pool. Main pool area and beach are also lovely with plenty of the best sun loungers I have ever experienced. I also made use of the spa and had a massage and facial - highly recommended. If you are looking for rest and relaxation in a beautiful environment with amazing staff - look no further. And don't miss the sunsets on the beach every night is different!"

"We had a fantastic stay at this lovely small hotel with amazing staff. It is located about 3K from Rethymnon old town making it a quieter location for a peaceful holiday, but there are still plenty of good eateries and shops near by and a taxi into town is 12 euro. The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean. It’s right on the beach and boasts 3 pools (one of which is indoors). There are more sun loungers than guests so you will always find somewhere to soak up the sun whenever you venture out. The pools are all less than 1.5m deep and there is also a small toddler pool in the garden of the hotel. The beach is shingle so bring water shoes, and it gets deep very close to the shore so not really suitable for little ones. The restaurant is excellent and there is also a pool/beach bar during the day. We had a family suite which had a mezzanine for a king sized bed and sofa beds in the living areas. Slight criticism about this room type for a family. The room is pretty much all open plan inc the bathroom. The toilet and shower are in the same cubicle which although screened from the room with an opaque door, it’s not floor to ceiling so everyone in the room can hear and smell what you are up to. And you will get wet feet (and trousers) if you go to the loo after someone has had a shower."
