"This was an amazing property. I wish I had known that we couldn’t swim in the ocean at the resort due to the rip currents and extreme waves prior to making our reservation. We were able to go to the public beach (definitely recommend) it was just a short uber ride away and we were able to swim with all the fish. We had a great time regardless of that. "We recently stayed at The Club at Solaz Resort to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary with our group of 15. We were excited to celebrate together, but unfortunately, our experience at Al Pairo was disappointing. One staff member told our group to be quiet, even though we were simply having a normal conversation and there was essentially no one nearby. We were seated spread apart from one another, so a group of 15 naturally needs to speak at a normal volume to communicate. We were not being disruptive or disrespectful; we were celebrating a very special family occasion. Because of how the situation was handled, we decided to leave and eat somewhere else. Thankfully, the rest of the resort staff and management were wonderful. Once they learned what happened, they went above and beyond to make things right. They generously arranged for us to enjoy the most beautiful beach cabana, completely complimentary, including food and beverages. This thoughtful gesture turned a disappointing moment into a memorable part of our trip. We truly appreciated the way management handled the situation and the kindness shown by the rest of the staff. One unfortunate interaction did not define our stay. In the end, we really enjoyed our time at the resort and left with wonderful memories of celebrating our parents’ 50th anniversary. Every stay can have a hiccup, but what matters is how it is handled—and management certainly stepped up when it counted."
