"It is very close to the train station and central market. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is very nice. The hotel is old, with heavy, brass keys to get into the rooms. It feels like an upscale hotel in Manhattan from the 1950s. Beds were comfy with crisp, white sheets and there was good AC.... very nice when it was 94F outside! "

"Our room was ready early so we got a chance to drop our luggage and recuperate after a very long travel day. The hotel is walkable from the train station, so we could avoid needing another mode of transportation although the area around the train station is necessary to be alert. Lastly, our family room with another room with beds and a second bathroom (amazing) for our kids gave us plenty of room - more than we ever expected. "

The daily breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from and special order options and the breakfast dining areas were both inside and outside. "Wow this hostel was truly an all-inclusive experience. We got a private room and it was HUGE! Our room was clean and everything was up to par. The hotel is in an exceptionally walkable area. There’s a streetcar and bus that you can catch right from the Florence train to the hotel which was very convenient. The pool area was a fantastic amenity and relaxing escape from the bustling city. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this property. Only slight issue is the long check in line but it goes by fast. "
