"It is very close to the train station and central market. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is very nice. The hotel is old, with heavy, brass keys to get into the rooms. It feels like an upscale hotel in Manhattan from the 1950s. Beds were comfy with crisp, white sheets and there was good AC.... very nice when it was 94F outside! "

"Great location, at an arm’s lenght of the hustle and bustle of Florence. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely room, very quiet. The shower was quite small though. The breakfast was excellent."

"Our room was ready early so we got a chance to drop our luggage and recuperate after a very long travel day. The hotel is walkable from the train station, so we could avoid needing another mode of transportation although the area around the train station is necessary to be alert. Lastly, our family room with another room with beds and a second bathroom (amazing) for our kids gave us plenty of room - more than we ever expected. "

The daily breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from and special order options and the breakfast dining areas were both inside and outside. "We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. We could hear some construction noise at the reception desk, but once we got to our room, it was quiet and far from the remodeling. Our room was very comfortable, with cold A/C and a large bathroom. The hotel is in a great location just outside the city center and a very short walk to the Santa Maria Cathedral."
