"Property is always a homerun for me bc of location, entertainment, restaurants, it’s in the literal heart of Fort Lauderdale. Unfortunately on this visit I was put in the older wing versus the tower, and for the second time in at least 2 years the pool is being renovated thus closed. However, they do provide transportation to Hyatt Centric where u can use their pool. Staff is excellent, restaurant there too, they also had an illusionist and that show was fun."

"Our pool service waiter, Edward, was absolutely AMAZING!!! He listened to exactly what we said and everything always came out as perfect as EDWARD IS!!! He’s Perfect! Kristian, front desk/guest service, he was PERFECT at checkin on Friday. We had a crazy rental car experience. Kristian made sure to make that happen. We chatted about life amongst other things! He was so very and overly accommodating to try make up for late arrival. So very nice!! Thank you, Edward & Kristian, you’re the best!!!!"

"My stay at Barley House was wonderful! It was an even shorter distance from the beach than advertised: just a 2 minute walk! The pool was large and well-maintained, and surrounded by lovely shaded cabanas. The free breakfast offered a wide selection of foods, including bagels with smoked salmon and lox. The staff was courteous and helpful. The rooms were very spacious, and had balconies overlooking the pool."
