Room was decent but building and parking lot was run down a fair bit. They had what seemed to be long term people staying there and made coming and going a bit uncomfortable considering they hung around the area by the entry doors closest to our room. I don’t think I will stay there again, pay a little more money to feel comfortable coming and going especially in the evening.

Will not be staying here again. The hotel looks run down when you approach the building. The manager that checked us in was nice but not very professional at all. Everything was dirty and just not maintained well. Shower missing some grout and caulk so shower leaked. Halls smelled like weed. Had to have keys reset multiple times. Rest of staff was nice and helpful but just overall a gross hotel.

There is no hot tub as stated on Expedia, but the pool was very clean and enjoyable. We had a king bed and jetted, 2-person tub. Highly recommend this room! Best price for the area. Great shopping, restaurants, and short drive to Frankenmuth.

Not a good review

We did not stay because the room smelt horrible sheets very dirty. Also, the spread was very dirty. Lots of spots here. We did not check in. We definitely need a refund. no security anyone can walk in the side door of the building. Thank you.

Nice Place...A Few Minor Areas for Improvement

We were greeted by Travis at the front desk when we arrived. Can say, that he was super friendly and very helpful. He was willing to support us in any ways possible. The room was very clean and comfortable, other than the desk chair, which was way too low for the desk to work on a computer. The hot breakfast was cold since somebody forgot to turn on the the steamer under the eggs and sausage. This was our third time staying here, and when we are ever in Port Huron again, this will be the place to stay.

Needs a lot of work, And the rooms were clean, but the rest of the hotel still needed a lot of work. And rooms do not have fridges are microwaves. The continental breakfast is by far the worst of any hotel. And for the whole weekend we stayed the pool was out of order due to lack of preventative maintenance. It is really not that hard to keep up on pool chemicals.

I would share pictures of I could. The door to my room looked like someone tried to break it down, door wouldn't close all the way on its own, had push/pull it closed. Striker plate was loose. Bathtub was dirty, didn't even come clean during shower.

I thought I was getting a refrigerator and microwave in my room and there was nothing. There was a hair tie in the middle of the floor like the room wasn't even vacuumed. There was a towel hanging in the bathroom with a big brown stain on it. I asked the lady at the front desk if she could make coffee she said no it will only be available in the morning. We use the pool but the hot tub was out of order. And there was a few hairs on the bathroom floor.

Walls are very thin, you could hear everything, even plain walking above you. Staff respond to you like you are interrupting them on a day off, they also present themselves the same way. Had to wait a few hours to them to track down a tv remote, and when I followed up the second time I was made to feel guilty for they were "busy taking care of other guests" "but.....am I not a guest?" The one reason why I will not be returning is the lack of security; every door besides the front door was unlocked where anyone could enter the property from the street. When I asked about this I got a shrug and a "They use to be, but visitors were complaining about it when they would forget to bring their key so we turned them off so we didn't have to hear about it"......Maybe I should not be advertising this. You got free coffee in the morning, and it was hot....so thats a plus.

The housekeeping and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The condition of the hotel was not good. Our room was clean, but the commons area, like the breakfast area was dirty with food left spilled on the the counters and tables and flies everywhere. We did not eat breakfast there for the rest of our stay. Ice machine did not work, had to get our keys reactivated three times, windows and glass doors were filthy with smears and fingerprints all over, and the grounds had overfilled garbage that was not dumped for our entire 5-day stay. The whole hotel needs an update.

Entrance to doorways were very dirty. The air conditioner heater had way too much dirt in. It wouldn’t want to get legionnaires disease.!! sheets were clean towels were white. That was good. The breakfast nook was dirty. The microwave was horrendous. We did not eat there.

Staff did not seem to care about customer service other than the young man first checking us in. He was very pleasant and hospitable. At breakfast the staff members were sitting at the desk visiting, had to as for eggs, cups, coffee, sausage, their attitude was un acceptable, will probably never stay at a Quality Inn again, lights in parking lot were mostly out, entry ways very dirty

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very run down, and not clean. The rooms were filthy- the shower was slimy underfoot; the carpet, walls, curtains, and bedding were all stained. Shower head did not work, door to the adjoining room did not lock, and the remote controls did not work for the tv. There was exposed wiring on the air conditioning unit. Every surface in the room from door knobs, locks, light switches, and tables were greasy to the touch. Peeling/flaking paint was all over the hallway floors and even in the pool! At least the beds were comfortable, and front desk staff were helpful.
