"Our (very short) stay was terribly disappointing. We arrived at 3pm to find the place hadn't been cleaned well at all, with crumbs and hair around the place, the bathtub full with grimey water and hairs floating in it and wet towels folded and left on the beds. We unfortunately had to leave due to a family emergency at 8pm that same night, so didn't sleep in the house at all, but the host refused to refund any money as we had booked for a 2 night stay. Communication with the host was great...

"Booked the house to stay, 5 months in advance. Had no contact from the owner, so emailed with 1 month until stay date. Was assured everything was fine. They contacted a week and half before stay date to cancel due to routine maintenance. Three hours on the phone to book somewhere else, to be told I had to wait 72 hours before we could rebook. Asked to have my money back and was told 14 days for a refund. Shocking service!"

"The property was lovely. It would have been ideal to have one bedroom separate from the open plan area to settle the kids to sleep. In the night 2. to 3. April there were ear splitting roadworks going on past midnight. Not your fault but would appreciate if you feedback to council that it was hopefully emergency works or else ridiculously inconsiderate. "

"Overall the property was in a great location.Flat was everything that you needed. Pity however that it was missing just a few little touches. A small bottle of milk would not have gone amiss. No salt and pepper. The TV remote control needs to be replaced. Control buttons not working . Could not get any BBC channels on free view . All small problems . The entry instructions were great and very clear. "
