"Oodles of charm on a tree-lined street. We’ve been to a variety of hotels, lodges and B&Bs, but never to a little hotel dating back to the turn of the twentieth century —an enjoyable experience. Hotel Vendome doesn’t have an elevator, however staff was happy to take luggage to our second-floor room. Convenient parking. Complimentary coffee in the lobby. The front desk attendant made an excellent recommendation for breakfast nearby."

"The hotel lobby was very beautiful with original furnishings, painted ceiling beams, tiled floors. The check-in staff were gracious helping us with a double booking so that we weren't charged for a room we didn't need. The elevator ride to our room was unique being as it was an antique, one of the oldest in AZ. In our room we had a comfortable bed with sheets and bedding that were delightfully clean. The pillows were lumpy. Next time I would bring my own. Complimentary coffee and tea in the room but no creamer or sweetener. The room was a queen bed room with beautiful antique furniture. The bathroom was so small that when sitting on the toilet my knees nearly touched the wall. The tiny bathroom had a urine smell that eventually aired out with the fan running. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this landmark hotel. It was an interesting experience and we recommend staying here "
